内向整流钾转运通道是四聚体通道，存在于肾脏的肾小管中。Kir 1.1 作为同源四聚体工作，而 Kir 4.1 和 5.1 作为异源四聚体工作。这些通道将钾离子从胞质转运到肾小管的腔内。

Potassium transport channels Inwardly rectifying potassium transport are tetrameric channels that are found in kidney in the nephron. Kir 1.1 works as a homotetramer, however, Kir 4.1 and 5.1 work as heterotetramers. These channels transport K+ from cytosol to the lumen of the tubules.
