通路描述
长链脂肪酸（LCFAs）参与许多细胞功能。它们可为骨骼肌和心脏组织提供重要的能量来源。此外，它们还用于激素的生产，这些激素可调节炎症、血压、凝血过程、血脂水平和免疫反应。脂肪酸转运蛋白（FATPs）是一类介导脂肪酸进入细胞的蛋白质，当过表达时。FATPs 还具备酶活性，具体细节另作说明。目前已知的人类 SLC27A 家族有 6 个基因，编码 FATP1-6（Stahl A, 2004; Gimeno RE, 2007）。迄今为止，只有 FATP1、4 和 6 具有可证明的转运功能。碳链长度大于 10 的脂肪酸是这些转运体的最可能底物。

Abacavir transmembrane transport Cytosolic levels of abacavir are determined by the balance of its facilitated diffusion into the cell mediated by organic cation transporters SLC22A1, 2, and 3, and its ATP-dependent efflux from cells mediated by ABCG2 and ABCB1 (Klaasen and Aleksunes 2010; Pan et al. 2007; Shaik et al. 2007).
