核心 M2 糖基化由β-1,6连接的GlcNAc延伸核心M1糖基化起始。这些结构主要存在于脑和前列腺组织中，占脑蛋白连接O-糖基化的5%以下。M2结构在神经细胞粘附和迁移中发挥作用。
