当 prefoldin 结合 CCT 时，β-肌动蛋白从 prefoldin 转移到 CCT 发生核苷酸无关转移 (Vainberg et al., 1998)。在 CCT 内发生 ATP 依赖的折叠 (Gao et al., 1992) 后，肌动蛋白以可溶的单聚体形式释放。

Folding of actin by CCT/TriC Nucleotide-independent transfer of beta-actin from prefoldin to CCT occurs when prefoldin binds to CCT (Vainberg et al., 1998). Following ATP- dependent folding within CCT (Gao et al., 1992), beta-actin is released as a soluble, monomeric protein.
