β-catenin 的 T41 突变体干扰 GSK3 的磷酸化，导致蛋白质稳定化和核积累 (Moreno-Bueno et al, 2002; Taniguchi et al, 2002; 综述于 Polakis, 2012)。T41 突变体已在肝脏和脑等癌症中被鉴定，此外还在垂体、子宫内膜、结肠和皮肤等癌症中被鉴定 (综述于 Polakis, 2000; Saito-Diaz et al, 2013)。

CTNNB1 T41 mutants aren't phosphorylated T41 mutations of beta-catenin interfere with GSK3 phosphorylation and result in stabilization and nuclear accumulation of the protein (Moreno-Bueno et al, 2002; Taniguchi et al, 2002; reviewed in Polakis, 2012). T41 mutations have been identified in cancers of the liver and brain, as well as in the pituitary, endometrium, large intestine and skin, among others (reviewed in Polakis, 2000; Saito-Diaz et al, 2013).
