铁负载的转铁蛋白/受体复合物的内吞，在酸化后，导致铁与其扩散出囊泡。内囊泡不与溶酶体融合，而是将其内容物回收回细胞表面，随后转铁蛋白与其受体分离（Dautry-Varsat, 1986）。

Transferrin endocytosis and recycling Endocytosis of iron loaded transferrin/receptor complex leads, after acidification of the endosome, to the separation of iron and its diffusion out of the vesicle. The endosome is not fused with a lysosome but recycles its content back to the cell surface where soon transferrin dissociates from its receptor (Dautry-Varsat, 1986).
